Midtown grew from the Town of North Toronto, incorporated in 1890 and annexed by Toronto in 1912. Eglinton station was the northern end of Line 1 from 1954 to 1973. Approved underlay installed to spec is the simplest way to avoid one.
Vinyl plank costs less and handles water in kitchens and entries. Engineered hardwood gives real wood underfoot and can be lightly refinished later. Both install over concrete with approved underlay.
