Services depend on availability and on an assessment of the site. We may decline, cancel or reschedule work where conditions are unsafe, where the scope differs from what was described, or where hidden conditions such as moisture, structural damage or suspected asbestos-containing material are found.
3. Contact consent
When you submit a form or contact us, you consent to us contacting you by phone, SMS or email about your request, including to ask questions, schedule a measurement, send your quote and follow up on it. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop using any contact method at any time.
4. Quotes and estimates
Price ranges on this website and results from our cost calculator are estimates only. Your written quote is based on measured square footage, the products chosen, subfloor condition, removal, access and building requirements. Each quote states how long it is valid. If the scope changes or hidden conditions are found, we will explain the change and revise the quote before continuing. Prices are before 13% HST unless stated otherwise.
5. Site assessment and scheduling
We confirm final pricing after measuring and inspecting the space, including subfloor flatness and moisture. Schedules can be affected by material delivery, acclimation time, condo booking rules, prior jobs and other factors outside our control. We will tell you as soon as possible if a date needs to move.
6. Customer responsibilities
- Give accurate information about the space, the existing floor and any known problems.
- Provide safe access, working electricity and a clear work area, or tell us in advance if help is needed moving furniture.
- Obtain any condo board approval, elevator bookings or landlord consent required for the work.
- Tell us about past water damage, heating in the floor or older floor tiles that may need testing.
- Keep children and pets away from the work area.
7. Materials and property
Wood and wood-based products move with humidity, and natural variation in colour and grain is normal. Where you supply the materials, you are responsible for their quantity, quality and suitability. Existing trim, baseboards and fixtures can be damaged during removal despite reasonable care, and replacement is quoted where needed.
8. Payment terms
Deposits, payment schedule and accepted payment methods are set out in your quote or confirmed when you book. Final payment is due on completion unless your quote says otherwise. Late payments may delay further work.
9. Cancellations and rescheduling
Please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Deposits for special-order materials may not be refundable once the material has been ordered. We may reschedule for safety, material delays or emergencies.
10. Testimonials, photos and media
Testimonials on this website are shared by our clients. Photos show flooring types and methods. Results depend on each home, subfloor and product, so the result for your project may differ.
11. Warranties and limitations
Any workmanship warranty is set out in your written quote, job by job. Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer. Normal wear and tear, humidity outside the manufacturer's range, water damage, pet damage, misuse and pre-existing structural conditions are not covered.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that specific service.
13. Website use and intellectual property
Do not misuse this website or try to interfere with how it works. Text, graphics and logos on this site belong to Toronto Flooring Contractors or are used with permission. Links to third-party websites and tools are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are handled in the courts of Toronto, Ontario.
