Davisville floors: 1920s houses beside 1970s-2000s towers
Davisville grew up around the pottery works John Davis set up in 1845, later known as Davisville Pottery. Many of its single-family homes date from the 1920s and 1930s, and Davisville station on Line 1 serves the area. Large apartment and condo complexes followed from the 1970s to the 2000s. A house here usually means refinishing oak over a wood subfloor. A suite usually means new planks over concrete with underlay the building approves.
